We understand that you're drawing comfort from the promise in Revelation 21:4 (WEB), "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away." This is a powerful reminder of the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and it is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not already, consider the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. Confessing your sins and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior is crucial and foundational.
In times of distress, it's important to remember that our ultimate hope lies in the eternal promises of God. The pain and suffering we experience in this world are temporary, and God has promised a future where all tears will be wiped away. This promise is extended to those who are saved through faith in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Anonymous in prayer. We thank You for the comforting words in Revelation 21:4, which remind us of the eternal hope we have in Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You wipe away every tear from Anonymous' eyes and fill their heart with Your peace and joy. Help them to trust in Your promises and to find strength in Your Word.
Lord, if Anonymous has not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them and draw them to You. Help them to understand the importance of believing in Jesus Christ and the power of His name. We know that naming Jesus is the only way to eternal life and the only way to have access to You so we ask You to help them understand this important truth.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
