Anonymous, we understand that you have a heart of concern regarding the final judgment as described in Revelation 20:12. Let's turn to the World English Bible (WEB) for guidance:
"I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works." (Revelation 20:12 WEB)
Firstly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Him that we can be saved from the judgment of our works. The Bible tells us, "because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB) "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB)
The final judgment is a serious reminder of the importance of living according to God's will. While we may all fall short, it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we are justified freely by His grace (Romans 3:23-24 WEB). However, it is more blessed to walk closely with Him, be baptized, and do the commandments.(1 John 2:4 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that He is the way, the truth, and the life. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon Anonymous and all of us. Help us to live in a way that pleases You, always seeking to do Your will. Thank You for the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Help us to share this good news with others, that they too may come to know You and be saved according to Your word.
Please give us the strength to follow Jesus Christ and do your commandments.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Anonymous. Put your faith in Jesus Christ and live for Him. His grace is sufficient to cover all of our shortcomings as we continue on this journey of faith. Always be prepared to do God's will and share the message of hope, repentance, baptism, and commandments. We are here to support you in prayer and counsel. God bless you.
