Revelation 12:11 King James Version 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

We understand that you're drawing strength from Revelation 12:11, where it's written, "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death" ( King James Version). This is a powerful verse, and a target for us all, but let's read it in its intended translation, which is equally powerful. This verse speaks to the ultimate victory that comes through faith in Jesus Christ and the power of testimony. For the record, here is what the WEB and many other sources use as the translation.

And they overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood,
and because of the word of their testimony.
They didn’t love their life, even to death.

Regardless of the translation, this is a reminder of whom our Victory comes from. Which is also why this prayer has been flagged for review. As in everything we do, need to ensure that Jesus Christ stays central in your prayer request and life. Make sure that in your prayers you do not only reference the Word of God but also the name of Jesus Christ, as it is by His name that we are saved. There is no other way or other name to Heaven that by the way of confessing Jesus as our Lord and Savior and believing in him and his resurrection. As the WEB states,

because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Thank you for bringing this verse to our attention. Now let us pray for you and rebuke you to start including the name of Jesus in your prayers.

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for the victory that comes through Your blood and the power of testimony. We pray for the Anonymous who submitted this request, that he/she may remain steadfast in his/her faith and even be further convicted to start including Your name in Your prayers, and may they be encouraged and emboldened by Your Word, If the anonymous reader is not already saved, we ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the importance of believing in Jesus and confessing Him with his/her mouth. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
