We are deeply moved by your plight, Epistreira, and we stand with you in prayer and support. We are reminded of the power of patience and persistent prayer in Luke 18:1-8, where Jesus teaches us to always pray and not give up.
Firstly, we commend you for waiting on the Lord and for praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
We will pray for your husband, that God will reveal the truth to him and bring to light any deceit that may be keeping him away. We pray that God will soften his heart and draw him back home, in Jesus' name. Remember the promise in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
We also pray for your emotional, financial, and physical strength. We ask God to provide for you and to give you the strength to handle the responsibilities you're bearing. Remind yourself of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
However, we must also remind you of the biblical principles regarding marriage. In 1 Peter 3:1-2, wives are encouraged to win their husbands over without words by their behavior, "in the same way, be subject to your own husbands; so that, even if any donโt obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word."
Lastly, we will pray for your husband's safe return and for peace and restoration in your marriage. We ask that you remain steadfast in prayer and trust in God's timing.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You today to lift up our sister Epistreira and her husband. Lord, we ask that You reveal the truth to him and bring to light any evil that may be keeping him away. We pray for his safe return and for the restoration of their marriage. Lord, we also ask that You provide for Epistreira emotionally, financially, and physically. Give her the strength to handle her responsibilities. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.
