We understand that you're going through a difficult time, missing your ex and seeking reconciliation. First, we want to remind you that God cares about your feelings and your situation. However, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will and His principles for our lives.
We must remember that God's design for romance is that it should be a precursor for marriage, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If you are seeking reuniting with your ex then you need to be seeking marriage. Any other relationship is immoral and forbidden. If you are seeking to marry your ex then your desire should be to marry and you need to be seeking God's will for this.
In this situation, it's important to trust in God's timing and His plan for your life.
Psalm 37:4 WEB: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, And he will give you the desires of your heart."
Psalm 37:5 WEB: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"
As a request for prayer you need to be asking this in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which you can be saved. You need to be calling on Jesus Christ.
Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Romans 10:9 WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is hurting and seeking reconciliation with her ex and marriage. We pray that You will comfort her heart and guide her through this difficult time. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan for her life. If it is Your will, please open the lines of communication between them, and restore their relationship with renewed love and respect, leading to marriage. We pray that You will take away any anger or bitterness, and replace it with Your love. We ask that You guide both of them and give them wisdom and speaking openly and honestly with each other.
We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen."
In the meantime, we encourage you to focus on your personal relationship with God. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.
James 4:8 WEB: "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
If your ex is not a Believer then we would encourage you to reflect on the following verses.
1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB: "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the Lord."
2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
Trust in God's best for your life, and remember that He loves you and wants the best for you.
