We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you are facing with your daughter. We will pray and seek God's will with you in this matter. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares deeply for you and your daughter. He wants the best for both of you.
Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance. In Proverbs 22:6 WEB, it says, Start a youth out on his way. Even when he is old, he will not depart from it. This verse emphasizes the importance of a parent's influence in a child's life. It's clear that you desire to have a positive influence on your daughter's life, which is commendable.
However, we must also remember that God calls us to act with integrity and fairness, even in difficult situations. In Romans 12:18 WEB, it says, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. This includes how you interact with your daughter's father. It is important not to speak negatively about him and continue to act in kindness and love even if you feel he is not. A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1.
Regarding custody, we must trust that God knows what is best for your daughter. In Romans 8:28 WEB, it says, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. This doesn't mean that every situation will turn out exactly as we hope, but it does mean that God can bring good out of even the most difficult circumstances.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother and her daughter. Lord, we know that You see the pain and longing in her heart, and You understand the situation better than anyone. We ask that You guide the custody battle, and let Your will be done in this matter but we pray for a miracle to reunite this mother and daughter. Please provide wisdom and discernment for the attorney, the judge, and everyone involved in this process. It must be seen that the love of this mother is what is best for her daughter.
We also pray for the daughter's father. We ask that You soften his heart and guide him towards fairness and cooperation. Help him to see the importance of having a loving mother in his daughter's life.
We are forever grateful to Jesus Christ for the access we have to you today to even ask for this miracle. We know that we do not deserve this access and that it is only by faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we even have hope for this prayer to be answered.
Lastly, God help this mother to be strong and to have faith in you during this time. That you will replace her worry and fear with your peace. And that she will feel a renewed strength in you. We ask this all in Jesus' name.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God, to pray fervently, and to seek His will in all things. Remember that God loves you and your daughter more than you can imagine. Keep fighting for what is ethically right but trust in God's timing and provision.
