Reunion with a loved one

We were to be married, but I wronged her, my poor ###. From what I learned on psychotherapy, her reaction was too harsh, but what's done is done.
I did everything I could to set things right. I am working on myself hard and praying for a second chance. Please, pray with me - whether you are catholic, orthodox or protestant, we all believe in the same God and Jesus Christ.
Pray with me for restoration of our relationship, so that our Lord Jesus guide me towards it and open her heart for my love and the values she loved in me but have forgotten in anger.
This day is especially hard for me in that matter. I have a feeling like something is going to happen but I may just be imagining things.

We understand your desperation and longing for reconciliation, ###. Let's bring your request before the Lord together, seeking His will and guidance.

Firstly, it's commendable that you're working on yourself and seeking forgiveness. However, we must remember that true repentance involves acknowledging our wrongs and trusting God's timing and will. As it's written in Romans 3:23-24 (WEB), "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

We must also remember that God's will is paramount. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It's crucial to trust God's plan, even if it's not what we initially hope for.

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ### and his situation. Lord, he has wronged ### and is truly repentant. He has been working on himself and seeking Your forgiveness. We ask, Lord, that You soften ###'s heart, not to forget the wrongdoing, but to forgive as You forgive us. Guide them both according to Your will. If it is Your plan, Lord, we ask that You restore their relationship, leading them towards a God-honoring marriage.

However, Lord, if it is not Your will, we ask that You give ### peace and help him to trust in Your plan. Help him to remember that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, ###, we want to remind you that our access to God is only through Jesus Christ. It's encouraging that you acknowledged Him in your request. Keep trusting in Him and His plan for your life.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
