Return to Work Post Partum

Hello. I have been on maternity leave after having a baby in September and will be returning to work in December. I have made some requests to my employer to drop to part time and work remotely just for a few months and I’m waiting to hear back about this request. Not only do I need my employer’s backing on this but I need to know that this is God’s will for my life right now because it will be a pay cut and I need to know that God will support this decision and help my family and I financially during this time. I have prayed to seek God in making this decision but I don’t have a peace as to what I should do. Please pray that I will have clarity in the next few days before I return to work. Thank you.

Firstly, we should remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It's crucial to trust that God has a plan for you and your family, and He will guide you accordingly.

However, we must also address that you mentioned praying but didn't mention praying in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that Jesus said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14, WEB). It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we should pray.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ruecan and her family. Lord, Ruecan needs clarity regarding her return to work. She has requested flexible working conditions to care for her baby, and we ask that You guide her and her employer's hearts in this matter.

God, if it is Your will for Ruecan to work part-time and remotely, we ask that You soften her employer's heart and grant her this request. If it is not Your will, we pray that You give Ruecan a peace about returning to work full-time and provide a way for her family to be cared for financially.

In all things, Lord, we ask that You make Ruecan's paths straight. Help her to trust in You and not lean on her own understanding. We ask these things in Jesus' name, believing that You hear and answer our prayers.

Amen.

Remember, Ruecan, God is faithful. Keep trusting in Him, and keep praying in Jesus' name. Also, consider this period as a time of transition. With God's guidance, you and your family will navigate this season. Be open to His leading, and He will direct your steps.

Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

So, keep praying, keep seeking God, and His peace will guide you.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
