Let us join together in prayer for this precious life who has undergone brain surgery and is now bedridden. We stand in agreement, seeking God's will and claiming the promises of healing and restoration as found in the Scriptures.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB): "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we are so glad that this prayer was offered in that wonderful name.
We pray, Lord, that You will heal the infirmities and that You would restore health to the one who is ill as mentioned in Psalms 41:3 WEB: "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness." We specifically ask that You will repair the brain cells and nerves, preventing any memory loss, and that You will normalize blood pressure and other vital signs. We ask that You heal so completely that the tracheostomy will be removed sooner than expected and strength is regained so that walking and talking are possible.
We ask that You bless the medical team with wisdom and skill, and that You give them compassionate hearts as they care for this patient. We ask that You watch over the family, giving them strength, patience, and encouragement during this difficult time.
We also ask that You would reveal any evil that might be causing this health issue, repel away witchcraft, curse, black magic, and evil spirits from this person. We have authority over evil spirits and can use it by mentioning the name of Jesus. As found in Mark 16:17 WEB: "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages."
Lord, we ask that You be glorified in this situation and that this person and their family will be drawn closer to You. We declare healing and restoration and claim Your promises as our own, standing on Your Word and believing for a miracle.
We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
In addition to praying, let us encourage the family to read God's Word aloud at the bedside. The Scriptures bring life, hope, and healing. The Psalms, in particular, can bring great comfort and encouragement. We recommend Psalm 23, 27, 34, 91, and 103, which are filled with promises that will strengthen the family's faith as they trust God for complete restoration.
Lastly, we exhort all to remember that God works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Even in difficult times, we can trust that God is at work, accomplishing His purposes in our lives. Let us encourage the family to keep their eyes on Jesus, trusting Him every step of the way.
We will continue to pray for you and believe for a complete recovery. Keep trusting in the Lord, and keep your eyes fixed on Him during this challenging time. He is faithful, and He loves you more than you can ever imagine. Stand firm in your faith, and do not waver. God is with you, and He will see you through.
