We understand your concern and heartache, and we stand with you in prayer for your son's return. Let's first acknowledge God's promise: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB).
We pray, Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask you to work in the life of our dear sister's son. Lord, you know the situation, and we trust that you are working everything out for his good and your glory. We pray that you will soften his heart and draw him back home (Jeremiah 31:3 WEB). We also pray that you will bring conviction to his heart, so that he may see and understand the deceit that has taken him captive.
We rebuke the spirit of deceit and division that is at work in his relationship. We pray that this relationship will be brought into the light, and that anything not aligned with your will be exposed and brought to an end. We do not take this request lightly, we are praying this in the name of Jesus Christ. We know that there is power in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We pray that our dear sister's son will encounter God, and that he will be transformed by the renewing of his mind.
We also pray for the girlfriend, that she too may encounter God and be saved from any deceit or sin that has ensnared her. We pray that God's will be done in both of their lives. We pray for the family, that they will remain strong in faith and love, trusting God in this difficult time. We pray that they will be a beacon of light and hope, ready to welcome their son back with open arms, just as the father welcomed the prodigal son (Luke 15:20 WEB).
Finally, we encourage you, dear sister, to remain steadfast in prayer and faith.
