We are truly sorry to hear about the situation with your adopted grandson, ###. We understand the pain and worry you are experiencing, and we want to stand with you in prayer and support.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply for both you and ###. He knows your hearts and your love for each other. In Psalm 147:3 WEB, it is written, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. This is the promise we hold onto for you and ###.
We commend you for your love and concern for ###, and for recognizing his godly qualities. It is evident that he has a special place in your heart and in God's family. Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let any of His own be lost. In Luke 15:4-7 WEB, Jesus tells the parable of the lost sheep, illustrating God's unwavering pursuit of those who are lost. We trust that God is pursuing ### in the same way.
We also want to address the issue of addiction that you mentioned. Addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we know that with God, all things are possible Matthew 19:26 WEB. Pray that ### would be set free from this bondage and that he would return home safely.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, You know the pain and worry that ### is experiencing, and we ask that You comfort and strengthen them in this time. We pray for ###'s safe return home, and for his complete recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. We bind the spirit of addiction in his life and loose the spirit of self-control and sobriety. We declare that ### is a child of God, loved and cherished by Him, and that he would return to the fold, just like the lost sheep in the parable. We also pray for ###'s real mother and family, that they too would find comfort and strength in You. In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God, and remember His promises. Stand firm in your faith, and do not give up hope. We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for ###'s safe return and recovery.
