Return of a large deposit of money

Firstly, we notice that you do not mention praying in Jesus' name. It is essential to understand that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written:

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)

And also,

"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Diexoo's situation to You. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding the cancellation of the event and the need for the deposit to be refunded. We ask, Lord, that You would move in this situation, that the money would be returned promptly, and that Your will would be done in this matter. Help Diexoo to trust in You and to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that You will provide all that is needed. Give peace that surpasses understanding, and let this situation be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Diexoo, we encourage you to continue trusting God, knowing that He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. Keep praying and believing, and may the peace of God guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

It is well.I understand your concern over your funds retained.This anxiety ought not to be if you entered an agreement that specified what may happen in the event of a cancellation from either party and participation details that concern seeking a refund under your circumstance.
However,if you are asking for a waiver to have your money returned then a soft plea with cogent reasons may be neccessary hoping that it shall be considered.
