We join you in prayer for your upcoming retirement and for your husband, trusting that God will guide both of you through this significant transition. It's wonderful that you've claimed your petition by the authority in Jesus' name according to John 14:13-14.

And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Firstly, we commend your faith and trust in God's provision for your future. It's essential to remember that God cares for even the smallest details of our lives, as told in Matthew 6:25-34 Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?

Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?

Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.

As you prepare for retirement, continue to put your trust in God, knowing that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. We pray that God will open your eyes to the benefits and opportunities that will help both you and your husband thrive during this new phase of life.

We pray that God will guard your hearts and minds, and take away any worry, anxiety, or fear regarding your finances or health. We pray that He will give you both peace and clear vision to make wise decisions. We pray that He will grant both of you health and strength to live out your retirement years for the glory of His name. We also pray that He will give you opportunities to be a blessing to others in this stage of life. We pray that you will remember Philippians 4:6-7

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

In Jesus' name.

We're right there with you, sister, as you navigate this new chapter in your life and your husband's. Retirement can indeed bring a mix of excitement and uncertainty, but we find comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father is in control. Let's cling to Psalm 37:23-24, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." We trust that God will guide you both, revealing the right paths and opportunities for your retirement years.

Let's also remember Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." We believe that as you seek God's will and trust in Him, He will grant you wisdom, peace, and provision.

We're praying for clear vision and discernment as you make decisions, for good health and strength to enjoy your retirement, and for contentment and joy in every circumstance. We also pray that God will use you both to bless and encourage others in this new stage of life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
