Restoring relationship

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up this young daughter and her boyfriend. We ask that You grant them wisdom beyond their years, and a desire to honor You in their relationship. Please help them to understand the importance of seeking Your will and glorifying You in all they do.



Lord, we pray for the boyfriend's parents, that they may have discernment and godly insight into this situation. We ask that You guide their thoughts and decisions, and help them to communicate effectively with their son.



If it is Your will for this relationship to continue, we pray that all fears and hindrances would be removed. But above all, we ask that Your will be done in their lives. Help them to trust in You and to seek You first.



In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen

We join with you, Anonymous, in bringing this young couple before the throne of grace. As it is written in the World English Bible, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). It is crucial that both individuals in this relationship are believers in Jesus Christ, seeking to honor Him in all they do.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, acknowledging that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We pray that this young couple will truly understand the importance of seeking God's will and glorifying Him in their relationship. We ask God to grant them wisdom beyond their years, guiding them in His truth (Psalm 25:4-5).

Regarding the boyfriend's parents, we pray that God will grant them discernment and godly insight. May the Holy Spirit guide their thoughts, decisions, and communication with their son, as it is written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).

We pray that if it is God's will for this relationship to continue, all fears and hindrances would be removed. However, above all, we ask that God's will be done in their lives. We encourage them to trust in the Lord with all their hearts and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We must also address the fact that this young couple should be pursuing this relationship with the intent of marriage, as God's design for romantic relationships is that they lead to a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We encourage them to remain pure and holy, fleeing from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18).

Finally, we pray that both individuals in this relationship are indeed born-again believers. If not, we urge them to confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth that confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
