We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Traenyell. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of seeking God's face in this time of need. Jesus said, In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. (John 16:23-24 WEB)
We also want to encourage you to examine your own heart and actions, as God desires us to do our part in reconciliation. As it is written, And the servant of the Lord must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, patient, in gentleness instructing those who oppose with meekness: if by any means God may give them repentance to acknowledge the truth; and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:24-26 WEB)
Now, we will pray with you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Traenyell and his wife to Your throne of grace. We are reminded of Your promise that the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:15-16 WEB)
Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts towards each other, and draw them closer to You and to each other. Grant them the wisdom and humility to seek Your will for their marriage, and the strength to follow it. Help them to forgive one another, as You have forgiven them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will for your marriage.
