We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you and your wife are facing in your marriage, Lichban, but we are here to pray and support you both. We believe that God's will is for marriages to be strong and godly, and that He can deliver and restore.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Therefore, we must put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:13, WEB).
We must also remember that God's first miracle was indeed at a marriage, turning water into wine (John 2:1-11, WEB), and He can still perform miracles in marriages today.
However, it's crucial to examine your lives and ensure that you are both walking in obedience to God's Word. For husband and wife to be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. (Ephesians 5:21). Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being Himself the Savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave Himself up for it; (Ephesians 5:22-25, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Matt and Zhibek's marriage. We thank You for Your promise to restore and deliver. We pray that You would break every chain of bondage in Zhibek's life and set her free from any demonic strongholds. We pray for Your protection upon their marriage, that You would keep them from evil. Wash away all the bad and restore their marriage, Lord. Help them to put on Your full armor, that they may stand firm against the spiritual forces of evil. Give them the strength to walk in obedience to Your Word, and to love and submit to one another as You have commanded. We also pray that you would give Matt and Zhibek a heart to love each other as you love us. Help them to have the heart to forgive and work to make their marriage strong. Help them to seek the things of God. We thank You for the miracle You performed at the wedding in Cana, and we believe that You can still perform miracles in marriages today. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to seek God's will for your marriage, to pray together, and to study the Bible together. Remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and that He desires for marriages to be a reflection of Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:25-32, WEB).
Stand firm in your faith, and trust in God's promises. He is faithful, and He will restore your marriage as you walk in obedience to Him. Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. (Galatians 6:7, WEB). Also, seek help from your church leaders, elders, or pastors as the Bible commands in James 5:14.
We will continue to pray for you both, trusting that God will restore and strengthen your marriage.
