We understand your desire to restore your relationship and we will pray with you, but first, let's align our hearts with God's word.
In Ephesians 4:29 WEB, it says, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Anger can lead us to say hurtful things, and it's important to seek forgiveness for that.
However, we must also address your request in light of biblical principles. If this relationship is not within the bounds of marriage or pursuing godly courtship, we should pray for God's will to be done. Hebrews 13:4 WEB tells us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. But God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your will to be done in this relationship. If it is Your desire for them to be restored, please grant forgiveness and healing. Help them to communicate with love and respect, as Ephesians 4:29 teaches. But above all, Lord, guide them both to seek You first and honor Your principles for relationships. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, give them the strength to move forward in a way that pleases You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to reflect on your relationship and ensure it honors God. If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus Christ into your life and the life of your relationship. It's only through Him that we have access to God and can experience true reconciliation and forgiveness. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
