We join you, ###, in lifting up your marriage to the Lord, seeking His grace and restoration. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God has the power to heal and restore your marriage.
Firstly, we acknowledge that you have asked in the name of Jesus, which is wonderful. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by His death, burial, and resurrection that we are saved. As the Bible says, "in no other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
We pray, Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s marriage to You. Lord, You know the struggles and the pain they have been through. We ask that You pour out Your healing power and restore this marriage. We pray with the words from Ephesians 5 (Let the wife) "see that she respects her husband." We also pray with words from Colossians 3 WEB even if the husband "be angry, and yet (to) not sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." Lord we pray that each of them would put away all negativity and submit to one another reverencing Christ. Make them one flesh, just as You intended marriage to be. Lord we pray against any overshadowing darkness and instruct the husband "to love his wife, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave Himself up for it;" and the wife, "see that she respect her own husband." We also pray what is spoken to the wives in First Peter chapter 3 WEB "even if any (husbands) obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives, seeing your pure behavior in fear. Whose adorning, let it not be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing;" Since there is no other name by which we can be saved, We pray all things by the name of Jesus. For the LORD God of Israel says that He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), so we stand in faith, believing that You can bring a fresh start and new beginning to this marriage. Restore the joy, the love, and the unity that You intend for every godly marriage. Let there be no unfaithfulness or sexual impurity in the marriage as the other cannot be done without each other's permission. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
###, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and faith. Continue to seek the Lord together with your spouse always, and allow Him to guide your marriage. Remember the words of Romans 15:5 WEB "Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:"
