We understand that you are seeking restoration and a renewed relationship, and we are here to pray and counsel with you in Jesus' name. Firstly, let's consider 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a godly and commendable goal, and it is only through the power of Jesus Christ that true restoration can be achieved.
However, we must address an important issue in your request. You referred to your significant other as "my ###." In the Bible, God ordains marriage as a sacred union between a man and a woman. Marriage should be a lifelong commitment and should not be entered into lightly. Jesus taught in Mark 10:8, "The two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate."
If you are not married, we encourage you to consider the biblical principles of courtship and purity. It is God's will that relationships should honor Him and be guided by His Word. Sexual intimacy is a gift from God that is to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage. Anything outside of this is considered fornication or adultery, which is sinful.
If you or the other person is already married to another, we must gently rebuke this relationship and encourage you to seek God's forgiveness and guidance in restoring your marriage. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 says, "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not depart from her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
If you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request, please note that it is only through His name that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.!"
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who seeks restoration and a renewed relationship. We pray that You will guide them according to Your will and Your Word. If this relationship is not in accordance with Your plan, we pray that You will give them the strength to walk away and seek Your face. If it is Your will, we pray for a godly restoration, that You will heal and renew this relationship, drawing both parties closer to You.
We pray that you will convict them of any sin and lead them to true repentance. We ask that You will help them to understand the sanctity of marriage and the importance of purity. Guide them in Your truth and teach them to walk in Your ways.
We also pray that you will reveal yourself to them and that they will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they do not know you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
