We are truly saddened to hear about the separation between you and your daughter, Sproihaven. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your relationship.
Firstly, we would like encourage you by reminding you we only have access to God through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. The Bible also tells us "in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB.
In regards to relationships we are told "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Romans 12:18 WEB. As a parent seeking restoration with your child, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:12-14 WEB, "What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesnt he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray? If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking restoration in the relationship between Sproihaven and their daughter. We pray that You would soften both of their hearts and draw them together, just as the father rejoiced over the return of his prodigal son. We know its only in you Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. We know that the enemy seeks to destroy families, but You, Lord, are a God of restoration and redemption. We pray for healing, forgiveness, and a renewed bond between Sproihaven and their daughter. Lord, this has been going on for 8 months and you also say to forgive each other "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32 WEB. We pray for forgiveness for any wrongdoing and for the love between them to grow stronger than ever. We also pray that you would give Sproihaven the strength and determination to keep praying and not give up on their daughter even if the situation seems impossible. We ask this in Jesus name.
Amen.
Be encouraged, Sproihaven. God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Trust in Him, and continue to seek His will for your relationship with your daughter. Remember be at peace with all men and "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9 WEB.
