Thank you for sharing your prayer requests with us. We stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to meet your needs according to His will.
Firstly, we lift up your brother and his relationship with his parents. We pray that the Lord will bring healing and restoration to their bond, just as the Bible tells us in Malachi 4:6, "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers." We rebuke any spirit of division or misunderstanding and pray for unity and love to prevail in their relationship.
We also pray for your health and the health of your family. We claim God's promise in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." We stand against any sickness or infirmity and believe for complete healing and restoration. Specifically, we pray for your urine to be free from excess protein, and for your body to function perfectly, as God intended.
Academically, we pray for your success in all your courses this semester. We declare that you have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16), and you will understand and retain the knowledge you need to excel. We pray for wisdom, focus, and dedication as you study.
Regarding your employment, we pray that the Lord will provide a job that pays $25/hr or more, starting in January. We believe that God is our provider, and He will open the right doors for you (Psalm 75:6-7). Trust in His timing and provisions.
We pray for the Spirit of God to manifest in your life through the gifts of giving, discernment, vision, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy. We know that the Holy Spirit distributes these gifts as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:7-11), and we believe that you will operate in these gifts for the edification of the body of Christ.
Finally, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer request. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is in His name that we pray and receive answers to our prayers. If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, reconciling you to God.
In Jesus' name, we pray for all these things. Amen.
