We pray this for you in Jesus name, amenWe understand that you are seeking prayer for the restoration of your relationship with the father of your child, Ilowen. Firstly, let's remember that God desires for us to be in healthy and godly relationships. In the book of Matthew 19:6, the WEB translation reads, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." This speaks to the sanctity of relationships and God's intent for them.
However, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will and to ensure that our relationships are built on biblical principles. If there has been any immorality or actions that do not honor God, it is important to seek forgiveness and turn away from those behaviors. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
Let us pray together for your situation:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for Ilowen and the father of her child. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any sins that may have been committed and for Your healing touch on this relationship. Guide them both to seek Your face and to align their lives with Your word. We pray for the father of the child to have a forgiving spirit, just as You have forgiven us. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and to work towards a godly union if it is Your will. In all things, Lord, let Your will be done. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Ilowen, remember that true forgiveness and restoration come from a heart that is humble and repentant before God. As you seek the father of your child's forgiveness, also ensure that your relationship with Christ is strong and that you are walking in His ways. If you have not invited Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior, now is the time to do so. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Trust in the Lord, and He will guide your path. May His peace and love surround you and your family.
