We understand your desire to overcome the spirits of poverty and vanity, and to regain control over your life and find your purpose. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for you.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. As Jesus says in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Regarding your struggle with poverty and vanity, let us remind you of the words of Hebrews 13:5-6 (WEB), "Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, 'The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?'" God wants us to trust in Him, not in material wealth or our own appearances.
Concerning your struggle with addiction, Paul encourages us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." God will provide a way for you to overcome this addiction.
We also pray that God will guide you to find your purpose in Him. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" God has a plan and a purpose for you.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister. Lord, we ask that you help them overcome the spirits of poverty and vanity. Restore their dopamine and receptors, Lord, and help them overcome their addiction. Guide them to find their purpose in You, Lord. Help them to live a life driven by Your purpose, not their own desires. Give them the strength to take authority over these struggles, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to trust in God and His promises. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is through His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12).
