We understand that you are going through a difficult time, having experienced financial losses and the loss of properties and land. We are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it is essential to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
In times of desperation, it is crucial to turn to God, who is our refuge and strength. Psalm 46:1 WEB tells us:
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
However, we must also ensure that our desires and pursuits align with God's will. It is important to examine our hearts and motivations, as it says in James 4:3 WEB:
"You ask and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of restoration. We ask that You comfort them in their time of desperation and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that You will add all other things needed. Guide them in their future endeavors and give them wisdom in their business dealings. We pray for a way out of this desertion and for financial blessings to be restored. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You and Your throne.
As you are currently feeling desperate, we strongly encourage you to cry out to God to save you. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And as Jesus said “I said therefore to you, that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:24 WEB).
Lastly, also remember what we are told in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
