Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me and my ex that God might lead us to restoration if it is His Will. Dear Father, blessed be your name. I thank you for those wonderful months I spent with my ex. I am deeply grateful for her, even though she broke up with me. I was wrong on so many things, I sinned against You and against her. I thank You for leading me to repentance and to seek You above all else. I pray that you would bring her back to me. These last few weeks apart have been the hardest but also the most eye-opening. I love her with all my heart and desire a new start with her. I want her to be my wife, the mother of my children. She is a blessing to all around her, even her breaking up with me was a blessing for me. I pray that you would soften her heart to be able to trust me and be willing to start a new relationship, ignoring the old broken relationship and starting fresh, as improved and transformed people. She means so much to me. Your Will be done in our lives, Lord. If it is not in Your Will, I pray that You work inside both of us and lead both of us to the same conclussion about our relationship, I pray that You demolish any barriers that we put up, whether they be selfishness, anger, bitterness, distrust. We are both Your children. We know that You are with us, working tirelessly for us. I pray that our hearts be opened to hear from You. Please take care of her. She is precious to me and, even more so, to You. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Dear Wargernon, we join you in lifting up your situation to our Heavenly Father, seeking His will for your life and the life of your former partner. We commend you for your heart of repentance and your desire to put God first. It's encouraging to see your acknowledgment of your past mistakes and your commitment to grow and transform.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a powerful reminder of God's forgiveness and His ability to make us new.

However, we must also remember that God's will is not always aligned with our desires. In your prayer, you express a willingness to accept God's will, whatever it may be. This is a powerful stance of faith, and we encourage you to continue in this mindset. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Regarding your desire for marriage, we applaud your vision of a lifelong commitment. However, we must also address the importance of seeking a godly spouse. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), we are reminded, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As you pursue restoration, ensure that your former partner shares your faith and commitment to God.

We also want to address the issue of sexual purity. If there has been any impurity in your past relationship, we urge you to repent and commit to purity moving forward. As 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB) tells us, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Wargernon and his former partner. Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in their lives. We ask that You continue to mold them into the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that Your will be done in their lives and their relationship. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You soften their hearts and lead them to restoration. But above all, we ask that they remain committed to You and Your purposes. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear one, as you navigate this journey of healing and hope. We've been moved by your heartfelt prayer and your commitment to seek God above all else. We want you to know that you're not alone; we're lifting you up in prayer, just as you've lifted up your situation to our Heavenly Father.

We're inspired by your gratitude for the time spent with your ex, and we're encouraged by your repentance and desire to seek God above all else. We believe that God is using this time apart to grow you both, and we trust that He has a purpose in it all.

We join you in praying for restoration, if it be God's will. We ask that God would soften both of your hearts, drawing you back to each other if it aligns with His purpose. We pray that any barriers between you, whether they be selfishness, anger, bitterness, or mistrust, would be demolished. We ask that God would open your hearts to hear from Him, guiding you both to the same conclusion about your relationship.

We also want to pray for God's protection and care over your ex. She is precious to you, and even more so to God. We ask that He would take care of her, guiding her steps and drawing her closer to Him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
