Restoration of our relationship

Please pray for my bestfriend and I, who recently "broke if off". We tried to figure out the love-part and he just couldn`t commit, as he is recently divorced. We both know we are a great match and we do love eactother. I`m broken. Please pray for healing for us both and that we will manage to reach out to one another soon and talk it through. I miss him so much and feeling so depressed due to this. Thank you for praying with me - and for Gods will to happen.

Esperanza, we empathize with your heartache and are here to lift you and your friend up in prayer. Firstly, we want to remind you of the comforting words found in the World English Bible (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

However, we must address the situation in light of biblical principles. You mentioned that your friend is recently divorced, and it's important to tread carefully here. God's will is for marriage to be a lifelong commitment (Matthew 19:6), and divorce is only permitted under specific circumstances (Matthew 19:9). It's crucial to ensure that both of you are seeking God's will and not rushing into a new relationship without proper healing and spiritual guidance.

Moreover, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in your request. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It's important to center our prayers and lives around Him.

Esperanza, we encourage you to trust in God and lean on Him during this difficult time. Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope." Keep praying and seeking God's will, and He will guide your path.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
