We are truly sorry to hear about your struggle with throat cancer and the loss of your voice, especially considering your dedication to teaching Sunday school for over 35 years. We stand with you in prayer, believing that the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, has the final say in your life.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that is is only by His name that we have access to God. It is written in the book of Acts: Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
In the book of Matthew, it is recorded that Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. The news about him spread out into all Syria, and they brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them. Large multitudes from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and from beyond the Jordan followed him.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God's power to heal. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 9:23, "All things are possible to him who believes." Do not be discouraged by the medical diagnosis, but continue to trust in God's healing power.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother Giluirfoanian. Lord, You know his heart's desire to serve You and teach Your word. We ask for Your healing touch upon his voice and body. The doctors have said the damage is permanent, but we know that with You, all things are possible. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power.
Lord, strengthen his faith and give him peace during this time. Use this trial to bring glory to Your name and draw more people to You. In the meantime, open up other opportunities for him to serve You, perhaps through writing or mentoring.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We speak life and healing over Giluirfoanian's body, especially his vocal cords. Lord, touch him and restore his voice so that he can continue to teach and glorify Your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of James 5:15, "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and he Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Trust in God's perfect will for your life and continue to serve Him in any capacity you can. We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for your healing.
