We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage, and we are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles. Firstly, let's turn to the Word of God for guidance.
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32 WEB
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice." Ephesians 4:31 WEB
Forgiveness is a crucial aspect of any relationship, especially marriage. It is essential to remember that God has forgiven us of much more, and therefore, we should also forgive others. We must be willing to let go of any bitterness, anger, or resentment and strive for understanding and reconciliation.
However, it is also important to address the root cause of the issues in your marriage. Both you and your husband should be willing to communicate openly and honestly, seeking God's will for your lives together.
"Let the wife see that she respects and reverences her husband [that she notices him, regards him, honors him, prefers him, and loves him; and that she be considerate to appreciate him, defer to him, and praise him.]" Ephesians 5:33 AMP
"Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered." 1 Peter 3:7 ESV
As you both work towards restoration, it is vital to adhere to biblical principles, with the husband being Christ-like, loving, understanding, honoring, and leading his wife, and the wife respecting, revering, and submitting to her husband. This is Godly marriage.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Empheinos hopes restoration for their marriage. We come to You, humbly asking for Your intervention. Grant both Empheinos and their husband the spirit of repentance, forgiveness, and active listening. Help them to communicate effectively every difficult issue, that they may overcome the challenges they are facing. Turn the hearts of Empheinos and their husband back towards each other and most importantly back to You, Lord, that they may serve You together as one flesh. Let respect, love, honor, understanding, be evident, and let their prayers not be hindered.
Lord, we also pray for Empheinos, that You may strengthen their faith and give them the wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will. Help them to be a godly spouse, respectful, loving, and submissive, as You have ordained.
Father, we know that Your heart desires reconciliation, and so we ask for a miracle in this marriage. Let Your healing power be evident in their union, and may they emerge stronger and more united than ever before.
We ask all these things by faith in Jesus Name.
Lastly, we remind you, Empheinos, that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and that He is faithful to His promises. Trust in Him, and keep believing that with God, all things are possible according to His will as you look to honor your marriage.
