Restoration of my marriage

Thank you for the prayers. Please continue to pray for clarity in our marriage. I am trying so hard to connect with my husband but he is still in a fog from his affair. He cannot see all the good we have in our lives. We have two beautiful children who deserve so much and two loving parents together. I pray he can see this. I pray we can openly and honestly communicate. I pray he can let go of all his anger and frustration he is carrying with him. I pray for him to return to us, to me and the kids. I pray for him to help me through understanding his infidelity. I love him.

We understand the deep pain and struggle you're going through, Brygmykos, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth.

Firstly, we commend you for your commitment to your marriage and your desire for clarity and restoration. God's heart is for marriages to be healed and for families to be united. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), " 'For I hate divorce, says the LORD, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence,' says the LORD of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously.' "

However, we must address the underlying issue with biblical wisdom. Infidelity is a grave sin that breaks the heart of God and the trust in a marriage. It's important that your husband understands the severity of his actions and truly repents. In Luke 17:3-4 (WEB), Jesus says, "Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him."

Forgiveness is a powerful tool, but it's important that it's met with genuine repentance. Pray for his heart to change, for him to seek forgiveness, and for your marriage to be built on a foundation of trust and honesty.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Brygmykos and her marriage. Lord, we ask for clarity and restoration. We pray that you soften her husband's heart, that he may see the pain he has caused and repent. We pray for open and honest communication between them, and that all anger and frustration be replaced with love and understanding. We pray for their children, that they may grow up in a home filled with love and unity.

Lord, we also pray for Brygmykos, that you give her strength and patience. That you guide her steps and grant her wisdom. Help her to love her husband as you love us, and to forgive as you forgive us.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, Brygmykos, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It's through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.' "

Keep holding onto God's promises, keep praying, and keep trusting. God's heart is for your marriage to be restored and for your family to be united.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
