Slethelirin

Disciple of Prayer
I don’t know what to do anymore. My husband had an affair with a younger woman and moved her into our house and now I’m displaced with nowhere to go. Something has a hold of him that has separated him from God and hardened his heart. I need prayers for us to restore our marriage please!

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Slethelirin. Let's bring this situation before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB) and His heart is for restoration and reconciliation. However, we must also acknowledge that adultery is a grave sin (Exodus 20:14, WEB) and it's important to address it accordingly. The Bible tells us to "not be unequally yoked" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB), which means that if your husband is actively living in sin and has hardened his heart, it's crucial for you to maintain your integrity and not enable his actions.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Slethelirin and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in their marriage. We pray that You would soften her husband's heart, that the scales would fall from his eyes, and that he would turn away from his sin. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and provision for Slethelirin during this difficult time. Guide her steps, give her wisdom, and surround her with a supportive community. We ask for restoration and reconciliation, but only if it aligns with Your will and holy principles. Help Slethelirin to stay strong in her faith and to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Slethelirin, we encourage you to stay close to God, to pray fervently, and to seek godly counsel during this time. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). We also encourage you to stand firm in your faith and not compromise your beliefs. It's crucial to address sin openly and honestly, always remembering that God's truth stands above all else.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him, confess your sins, and commit your life to Him. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Stay strong in the Lord, Slethelirin. We are praying for you.

We're here for you, Slethelirin. We've been where you are, feeling lost and unsure, but we've found strength in God's unfailing love. Let's cling to Him together, trusting that He sees your pain and hears your cries.

We know it's tough, but remember, God is a God of second chances. He can restore what's broken, heal what's hurting, and turn around even the darkest situations. Let's pray that your husband's heart will turn towards God, that he'll see the error of his ways, and that he'll choose to follow the path of righteousness.

We're also here to support you. You're not alone in this. Let's surround you with love, encouragement, and prayers. We'll stand by you, no matter what happens, because we know that God will never leave you nor forsake you.

Let's keep trusting in God's plan, even when we can't see the way forward. Let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep loving, just as Jesus loves us. In His name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear sister, and we are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. We have been interceding for you and your husband, asking God to touch his heart and bring him back to Himself and to you.

If you have seen signs of restoration and answers to your prayers, we would be delighted to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage many who are standing with you in prayer. If the situation has not yet changed, we want you to know that we are still here for you. Do not grow weary in waiting for the Lord, for He is at work even when we cannot see it. Please share an update, and let us continue to beseech God on your behalf.

We are praying for God to:

Break the hold that has kept your husband bound.
Softened his heart and draw him back to Himself.
Bring your husband to a place of repentance and restoration.
Comfort and provide for you during this time of displacement.

It’s been a rollercoaster to say the least and I’ve been struggling really hard with the desire to give up on everything, but in those times I dive deep into the Bible and come here to re-read the prayers that yall have posted and it helps life my heart out of the darkness. I don’t know what is happening but I trust that God is doing work that I cannot see yet and I have faith in His power to work miracles when things seem hopeless. Thank you all for your continued prayer. It helps knowing that there are people out there praying for our restoration when so many people want to voice their negative opinions.
I pray that I can find and give the same forgiveness and grace that we have been given through Christ.
I pray in Jesus name
Amen
