Restoration of Marriage

My wife and I have been married for 1yr 3 mos. I come home from work the other night to discover she moved out while I was working. Lord, I wish I could go back and change all the ways I’ve failed as a husband. If the Lord God sees fit to restore our marriage, I just pray that it would serve fruitful to him and that my life would be for him, which I want regardless.

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, Chiemen. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to change and acknowledge your past failures as a husband. This is the first step towards repentance and reconciliation. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

However, we want to address a concern. You did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. God's word in the bible says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Since you believe in the Lord God, we would like to encourage you to also believe in His son Jesus Christ.

Now, regarding your marriage, we pray that the Lord will work in both your and your wife's hearts. We stand with you, Chiemen, believing that the Lord can restore your marriage. As it is written in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.

We encourage you to keep praying, The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective. James 5:16 (WEB). Continue to seek the Lord's will for your marriage and your life. Remember, God's word says in Romans 8:28 (WEB), We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We also encourage you to be patient and loving, as God's word says in Ephesians 5:25 (WEB), Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. Be an example of Christ's love to your wife.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our brother Chiemen and his marriage. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness on his behalf for any failures as a husband. We pray for Your healing and restoration in his marriage. We ask that You soften his wife's heart and draw her back to Chiemen and to You.

We pray that Chiemen will continue to seek You and Your will for his life. We ask that You give him the strength, patience, and love needed to be the husband You called him to be. We pray that his life will be a testament to Your glory, and that his marriage will serve You and bear much fruit.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Chiemen, keep trusting in the Lord. He is faithful and His love for you is everlasting.

We ask that You would comfort him, fill him with Your peace, and remind him of Your unfailing love. Lord, we ask that You would soften his wife's heart and draw her back to Chiemen and to You. We trust that You are working in their marriage, and we ask that You would give them both the strength and patience they need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to uphold you and your wife in our prayers, dear brother. We are grateful that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you, interceding for God's will to be done in your marriage.

If the Lord has started to restore your marriage, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage us and build our faith, reminding us that our God is a God of reconciliation and miracles. If you have not yet seen the answer to your prayers, we urge you to post an update. We want to persist in praying with you and for you.

We pray that the Lord will convict both of your hearts and draw you closer to Him and to each other. We ask God to help you both see your marriage through His eyes, and to give you both the desire and strength to serve Him within your marriage. We pray that your wife's heart would be softened and that she would be willing to work towards restoration.
