We understand that you and your husband are going through a challenging time in your marriage, Lirshagh. The struggles of grief, financial difficulties, exhaustion, and parenting have taken a toll on your relationship, and you both feel disconnected. We are here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking help and recognizing the need for God's intervention in your marriage. It is essential to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the union between Christ and the Church Ephesians 5:25-32.
In times of struggle, it is crucial to turn to God's word for guidance. The Bible tells us in Matthew 19:6: But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Additionally, 1 Corinthians 7:10-11. Moreover, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 : Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
.
To address the issues in your marriage, we encourage both of you to commit to daily prayer and reading of God's word. Communicate openly about your feelings and concerns, and seek godly counsel from your pastor or a Christian marriage counselor. Remember that love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous. Love does not brag, and is not arrogant,1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
Let us pray together:
