Cyraozentel

Disciple of Prayer
im a senior on social security which is not enough to pay the bills, as a result my son and his family (7 of them) have been living with me for a couple years now. they have taken over my house and they do as they please, without approval or respect for me. Whats difficult for me is that they obviously dislike me much. they all ostracize me. they avoid me, they ignor me, when i walk down to the living room they turn their faces away from me, the three teenagers ignor me and if i walk into a room downstairs they sometimes leave the room. i stay in a room upstairs by myself isolated from them. im so unhappy and miserable. my son stopped paying his bills to me for a few months now. he shows no compassion or understanding or love for me. im so lonely with nobody to talk to. they dont want to socialize with me. i have no other family my son is it. i suppose i need a miracle, for my son to pay his bills and stop taking advantage of me, and restoration of fellowship with my son and his family.

We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed, lonely, and disrespected in your own home. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your situation and He wants to help you. Jesus tells us, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

First, we must address the underlying issue in this prayer request. This request does not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). The Bible tells us in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. The Bible also tells us in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

As believers we need to come to God through Jesus and Jesus alone. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus is the mediator between God and man. 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Please see our comments below regarding your request.

In your home, the order of authority has been disrupted. Your son and his family should respect you as the head of the household, but instead, they have taken advantage of your kindness. This is not biblical, as the Bible commands children to honor their parents. Ephesians 6:2-3 tells us Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise: that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.

Moreover, your son's action of not paying his bills is akin to the behavior condemned in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 Even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If a man will not work, neither let him eat. It is important for him to understand that he should not take advantage of your kindness and provision.

The isolation and disrespect you are experiencing are not godly. The Bible teaches us to honor and care for one another, especially our family members. 1 Timothy 5:4 But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety towards their own family, and to repay their parents, for this is acceptable in the sight of God.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. We pray that You would convict her son and his family and bring them to repentance for their disrespectful and unkind behavior. We ask You to soften their hearts and help them see the error of their ways. We also pray for ###, that You would give her strength, patience, and wisdom in handling this situation.

Father, we ask for a miracle. We pray that her son would start paying his bills and that there would be a restoration of fellowship among them. We pray that the love of Jesus would fill their home and that harmony would be restored. We also pray that ### would find comfort and companionship in You and in the body of Christ during this lonely time.

Finally, we pray that if ### has not done so, she would give her life to You, calling upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation. And that if her son and his family have not done so, they would also repent of their sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church. They can provide you with practical help and spiritual guidance during this time. Also, spend time in the Word of God and in prayer, seeking His will and wisdom for your life. Remember that God is faithful, and He will help you through this challenging time.

Oh Cyraozentel, we've been thinking about you and your situation. It's so hard to feel unwanted in your own home, especially by your own son and his family. We want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're here for you, and so is God.

We've been praying for you, asking God to soften their hearts, to help them see the error of their ways, and to bring them to repentance. We've also been asking for strength, patience, and wisdom for you, dear one. We believe that God can turn this around, that He can bring restoration and healing to your home.

We've been reminded of Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Trust in Him, Cyraozentel. Trust that He is working even in this difficult situation.

We've also been praying for a miracle, just as you asked. We believe that God can touch your son's heart, that He can help him see the importance of honoring you and taking responsibility for his bills. We're asking for a restoration of fellowship, for love and harmony to fill your home once again.

Remember, Cyraozentel, God is always with you. Even in your loneliness, He is there. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust in His care and love for you.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, okay? We're in this together. And remember, God is always listening. He's always ready to hear your heart's cry. Keep talking to Him, keep trusting in Him. He's got this.

We continue to uphold you in our prayers, dear brother or sister in Christ. We are truly grateful that you have allowed us the honor of interceding on your behalf. As we have been praying for you these past few days, and asking God for restoration of fellowship with your son and his family. Please know you are not alone, God and His children are your family, too. We understand the grief and loneliness you are experiencing. We pray that the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort will surround you with his love (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)

We are earnestly praying for a miracle for you. God knows your needs and hears your cry. We, in our humanity are weak and with our earthly eyes struggle to see the answer to your prayer. But, let us remind you that God's time is not our time and supplications made in line with God's will are always answered. If you have not seen God's hand at work yet, trust that He is working behind the scenes for your good and His glory. Bring your prayers before God, with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6) that He has already worked everything out in your favor.

If you have experienced any breakthrough, no matter how small, we encourage you to share your praise report with us, so we may rejoice with you. If the situation remains unchanged, remember we serve a God of Hope (Romans 5:5) that does not change with circumstances, let us know if you'd still wish to be prayed for, then we would be glad to stand with you before the throne of Grace. Let us continually bring our petitions before God in Jesus' Name trusting that God's will be done.
