We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we are here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles. First, it's important to address the issue of curses and demonic oppression. As believers, we know that Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13 WEB). No one has the power to curse us outside of God's permitted will, and even then, we have authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 WEB).
However, unforgiveness can indeed open a door to demonic oppression. The Bible tells us, "But if you do not forgive neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your lawless deeds." (Mark 11:26 WEB). It is crucial to forgive completely and genuinely, not just many times for show. Forgiveness is the first step in the healing process and this breaks the legal hold and rights the enemy has to you. Forgiveness means not holding onto what happened and not going back to remind the offender of what they did.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with unforgiveness and demonic oppression. We thank You that You have forgiven us and redeemed us from every curse. We ask You to help our friend forgive genuinely and completely, releasing any bitterness or resentment.
We pray that you help them walk in love and forgiveness. We rebuke any demonic oppression and command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for restoration, that You would bring back all that the enemy has stolen. Give them a heart of love and forgiveness. Restore their destiny and help them walk in your will.
We also pray that they would draw near to You, resisting the devil so that he may flee from them (James 4:7 WEB). We ask for a renewed faith and trust in Jesus Christ, and a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit to empower them to live in freedom and victory.
If they have not truly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and believed in their heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, then reveal this to them so they can be saved. This is the foundation to being saved from any curse or the enemy. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God does not want us to be bound by any curse or demonic oppression. He wants us to live in the freedom that Jesus Christ has purchased for us on the cross.
It is important to know that satan wants to kill, steal, and destroy. But Jesus Christ came that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 WEB)
Stay strong in the Word of God, and keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). Continue to walk in love and forgiveness, and trust that God will restore your destiny.
