We are truly saddened to hear about the broken heart your wife is experiencing, ###, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical guidance. Let's bring this situation before the Lord together, seeking His will and healing power in Jesus' name.
Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. As it says in Psalm 34:18,
`Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit`.
As we pray for your wife's healing, let's also remember that God's desire is for us to be reconciled to Him and to one another. In marriage, both spouses should strive to reflect the love of Christ and His church. As Ephesians 5:25-28 tells us,
`Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.`
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and his wife. Lord, You know the pain and heartache they are experiencing, and You remember that we are dust. We ask for Your healing touch on their marriage and especially on his wife's broken heart. Comfort her, Lord, and let Your lovingkindness and tender mercies be evident in her life.
Guide them both, Father, as they navigate this difficult time. Give them wisdom and discernment, and help them to be humble and willing to seek Your will together. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and remind them of the covenant they made before You.
Draw them closer to You, Father, and to one another. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or bitterness that may be attempting to gain a foothold in their marriage. Surround them with Your love and protection, and let Your grace and mercy be abundant in their lives.
Father, we also pray that ### and his wife would be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
that they may walk worthy of the Lord, to all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness; giving thanks to the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. (Colossians 1:9-12)
Lastly, Father, we pray that ### and his wife would keep their hearts and minds stayed on You, knowing that You will keep them in perfect peace. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
###, continue to be strong and courageous, knowing that the Lord your God is with you. Keep your faith and trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. Remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12,
`There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.`
If there is anything that either of you has done that is not pleasing to God, including any sexual sin such as fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, or any other sin that may be the cause of the broken heart, this needs to be identified and immediately stopped, confessed and repented so that healing and restoration can begin. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
`Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom.
Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.`
To ensure that our prayers are in accordance with God's will, we must always strive to live in a way that pleases Him and aligns with His Word. May God bless you and your wife, and may His healing power be evident in your marriage.
