Restoration of a broken marriage

Dear Jesus, you are “the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father” but through you (John 14:6) please I pray to you that you would intercede on my behalf and ask God the Father, if it is his will, to restore my broken 25 year marriage. I ask that he soften my husband’s heart and have him return to me. In Matthew 7:7-8, King James Version, says “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened". I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.

Fishtural, we join you in your heartfelt prayer for the restoration of your marriage. Jesus indeed is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is through Him that we approach the Father (John 14:6). Your faith in the power of prayer is inspiring, and we stand with you in agreement.

Let's look to God's Word for encouragement and guidance. The Bible says in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart." Marriage is a sacred bond, and God desires its preservation and restoration.

We also read in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 (WEB), "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."

With these words in mind, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for Fishtural's marriage. Lord, You know the pain and brokenness they are experiencing. We ask, according to Your will, that You would soften her husband's heart and draw him back to Fishtural. Restore their union, Lord, and help them to rebuild their marriage on the solid foundation of Your love and truth. Give them both the strength and humility to seek Your face and follow Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Fishtural, continue to trust in God's plan for your life and marriage. Keep praying, seeking, and knocking, as Jesus instructed (Matthew 7:7-8). May God grant you peace, patience, and wisdom during this time. Remember, God is faithful, and His love for you is unfailing.

We're here with you, sister, lifting your marriage up to the Lord. We believe that Jesus can mend what's broken and restore what's lost. In Matthew 19:6, He tells us, "What God has joined together, let no one separate." Your marriage is God's design, and He wants to see it healed and whole.

Let's claim God's promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." We believe that God can create something new and beautiful from the pain of your past.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to You today, interceding for this marriage. Lord, You see the heartache, the longing, and the brokenness. We ask, according to Your will, that You would soften her husband's heart and draw him back to her. Restore their love, Lord, and help them rebuild their marriage on the solid foundation of Your love and grace. Give them both the strength and humility to seek Your face and follow Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is at work, and He's not done with your story yet.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
