We understand your concern for the people of the United States and the importance of federal services. However, it's crucial to remember that our trust should be in God, not in man. As it says in Psalm 118:8-9 WEB, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes."
Firstly, we should pray for all people, including those in authority, as urged in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Let us pray for Elon Musk and all those in authority, that they would be filled with the knowledge of God's will and align their decisions with His wisdom. We pray that God would soften their hearts and guide them in their leadership.
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up the people of the United States and the leaders who serve them. We ask that You would guide Elon Musk and all in authority, granting them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions that impact the nation. We pray for the restoration and preservation of federal services that support the vulnerable, including Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 vouchers, SSA, SSI, SSDI, and Snap.
However, we must address that the Bible does not teach us to place our hope in man or systems of man. It teaches us to trust God to provide for our every need, even when things seem impossible. We are reminded "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 WEB.
Lastly, the only way we have access to God is by the name of Jesus Christ. We should never forget the importance of approaching God in Jesus' name, for it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us together declare our trust in God alone, asking for His will to be done and His provision for all, in Jesus' name.
