My ### is unable to settle down at home. He ### always out of home and I can see him losing interest in school. He ### also smoking which is causing him to be unstable at home. Please help.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with your son. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your family.
Firstly, let us remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says the Lord, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.'" God has a plan for your son, and we pray that He reveals it in His perfect timing.
However, we must also address the issues at hand. The Bible teaches us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12) and to keep our bodies pure (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Your son's actions are not aligning with these principles. We must pray for a change in his heart and for him to understand the harm his actions are causing.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up this family in their time of need. Lord, we ask that you would soften this young man's heart and help him to see the error of his ways. Give him a desire to honor his parents and to care for his body, which is your temple. Lord, we also ask that you would provide guidance and wisdom to his parents. Help them to raise him in a way that is pleasing to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to continue to show love and patience to your son. Remind him of the consequences of his actions, but also assure him of your unconditional love. Remember, God disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6), and so should we.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

We're here for you, too. Let's continue to lift your son up in prayer. We know that God is a God of restoration and healing, and we believe that He can turn this situation around. Let's remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that God would heal your son's heart and help him find peace at home and focus at school.
Let's also remember that God is a God of second chances. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, we read, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." We believe that God can create something new in your son's life, helping him to make better choices and turn away from smoking.
