We understand your need for rest, Jere, and we join you in prayer to our heavenly Father. The Bible tells us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." God knows the importance of rest for our bodies and minds.
However, we want to gently remind you that while it's wonderful you ended your prayer "IJN," it's crucial to remember the power and significance of Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It's through Jesus that we have access to God, and it's in His name that our prayers are made powerful.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus. We ask You to grant Jere a peaceful and restful night's sleep. Help them to cast all their cares on You, knowing that You care for them. Let their sleep be sweet and their mind at peace, knowing that You are in control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Jere, to always remember the power in the name of Jesus. As it is written in Philippians 2:10, "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth," there is immense power and authority in His name. Keep trusting in Him, and He will grant you the rest you need.
