Farrayll we understand your need for prayer to overcome worry and bring peace and reconciliation to your family. First, we want to assure you that God's Word addresses these concerns directly, and He is always ready to listen and intervene.
In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), the Apostle Paul encourages us, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
It's clear that worry can be overcome through prayer, and God's peace is available to those who seek Him. This peace is not just the absence of conflict but the presence of divine tranquility that surpasses all human understanding.
Regarding family reconciliation, consider Colossians 3:13-15 (WEB):
Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. And above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another
Reconciliation starts with forgiveness, and God has given us the perfect example through Christ. We are to bear with one another and forgive as He forgave us. This can be trying, but remember that love is the bond of perfection, and God's peace should rule in our hearts.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Farrayll and their family. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural peace to fill their hearts and minds, casting out all worry and anxiety. Help them to fix their thoughts on You and to bring every concern to You in prayer.
We also pray for reconciliation in their family. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven, to bear with one another in love, and to let Your peace rule in their hearts. We ask that Your word would dwell richly in their family, teaching and admonishing them in all wisdom. Lord, we know there is one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. Please help us remember our great need for Jesus and our great need for a savior to wash our sins away with his sacrificial blood making us worthy for salvation. We believe in the virgin birth and New Birth of Jesus Christ. We believe there is only one way to the Father which is through the Shephard Jesus Christ. Jesus is our Lord and victor over death as he resurrected himself. We have eternal hope and that he will return for the final judgment. We believe that he is alive and reigning in Heaven on the Throne.
Finally, we believe and know that you have only good wishes and hopes for Farrayll and their family, just as stated in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB): "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We know this does not give a promise or guarantee of but instead a hope to help us wait with expectation and no worry.
We ask all these things confidently, In Jesus Name, and as Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.
Amen
