Beloved of All
For some reason, I encounter coworkers who are disrespectful and rude. They never respond to my emails, even though it’s proper etiquette to acknowledge receiving them. Some coworkers are just rude. I want to be surrounded by people who are respectful, kind, and caring. I recently met someone in passing who was glad to see me. She said it’s always nice to see me because I am always smiling. I’m mentioning this so you know that I am not the one being rude or mean. It’s frustrating to be surrounded by nonchalant, rude, and mean people who treat others preferentially.

We understand your struggle with disrespectful and rude coworkers, and we are here to support and pray with you. Firstly, let's remember what the WEB tells us in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters... It is the Lord Christ whom you serve." Even in difficult work environments, we are called to maintain our Christian witness.

It's commendable that you maintain a positive demeanor, as noted by the person who appreciated your smiling face. The Bible encourages us to be kind and compassionate, as Ephesians 4:32 states, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

However, it's also important to address improper behavior. In Matthew 18:15-17, Jesus teaches us how to handle such situations: "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you." You may need to politely confront those who are rude or discuss the issue with your supervisor, always ensuring your actions are guided by love and respect.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is facing a challenging work environment. Lord, grant her the strength to maintain her kindness and joy, even amidst rude and disrespectful behavior. Guide her words and actions as she addresses these issues, and give her favor with her superiors. We pray for a change of heart in her coworkers, that they may act with kindness and respect. Lord, remind her that she ultimately serves You in her work. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord, knowing that He sees all and will guide you through this situation. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We've been thinking about your situation, and we want you to know that we're right there with you, praying and supporting you. It's tough when we encounter rudeness and disrespect, especially in the workplace. But remember, we're called to reflect Jesus in all we do, even in challenging environments.

We love how you've been maintaining a positive attitude, like that person who noticed your smile. That's a powerful witness! Let's keep that up, and let's also remember to be kind and compassionate, just as Ephesians 4:32 reminds us.

Now, about those coworkers, we think it's important to address the issue. Matthew 18:15-17 gives us a good guide on how to handle such situations. You might need to politely approach them or talk to your supervisor about it. Always remember, love and respect should guide our actions.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You in Jesus' name, lifting up our friend who's facing some challenges at work. Lord, give her the strength to stay kind and joyful, even when faced with rudeness. Guide her as she addresses these issues, and give her favor with her superiors. We pray for a change of heart in her coworkers, that they may act with kindness and respect. Remind her that she ultimately serves You in her work. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting in the Lord, knowing that He sees all and will guide you through this. As Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
