Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of honoring your parents, as instructed in Ephesians 6:2-3 (WEB), "Honor your father and your mother," which is the first commandment with a promise: "that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth."

However, we also recognize that respect is a two-way street. In 1 Peter 2:17 (WEB), we are taught to "Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king." This implies that your mother should also respect you as a person.

Let's pray about this situation:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and her mother. Lord, we ask that You would touch her mother's heart, guiding her to respect ###'s privacy and boundaries. Help them to have open and honest communication, building a relationship founded on mutual respect and love. Additionally, we encourage you to openly discuss your feelings with your mother, explaining why you'd prefer she not open your packages. Always approach this conversation with love and respect, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
