I have been fasting a Daniel Fast (to get back on track spiritually and to prepare for a geographic move toward an area yet unknown where I can have better access to a thriving church and more ministry opportunities). Last night there was a spiritual attack last night at my job that earned me a complaint with a VIP -- Please ask Management sees through the smoke screens of deception to see The Cook purposely overcooked a piece of medium salmon for the top of a salad that did not go through on the computer system correctly b/c of a glitch and ruined the table's meal. I brought it to the kitchen's attention immediately and it should have been done in 4-5 minutes on an extremely high temp stove top not 15 so the customer could eat with the rest of his group. He was a VIP customer that knows both owners. Please resist the devil from my job with me (James 4:7): I "submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from (me)!" May I "not be overcome with evil but (help me) overcome evil with Good" (Rom 12:21).
Extra Grace: Punctuality (Early, Cleaned & Pressed), Favor with Management, Co-workers & Customers, Great Tables, Increased Shifts, 5 Star Reviews on Social Media, Increased Skills & Finances) SEASONAL (Ending in about Two Weeks)... CLARITY for next door and direction, fullness of the knowledge of God's Will (Col 1:9-12). I ask for an increased shifts, sales, favor, tips and savings as confirmation of and preparation for this move, Increased ability to memorize product materials, ingredients, specifics and quicken order entry, cut down delays in service (bread, refills, cleaning tables, and an orderly flow of customers (not all tables at once, please, but sections re-seated frequently).
Obviously I learned from the glitch in the computer's system and reinforced the decision get management involved sooner and ask to have all orders entered perfectly and the kitchen and Commander of The Kitchen Line be understanding of the customer's needs not side with the kitchen. That there would be "no sides" but one restaurant from this point forward. May I receive so many good reviews the one negative one comes to nothing! Help multi-tasking, sharpness, blessing on remembering details and communicating with the kitchen, customers, bussers, expos & runners. Extra endurance, discernment, discretion, skill and every right way, (Proverbs 2:11). Blessing and help creating a wonderful experience for our customers.
