Opalalior, we understand your situation and the long journey you have been on regarding your resettlement to the USA. We will pray for you and your family, and we encourage you to continue trusting in God's timing and provision. We'll begin by praying for wisdom to guide us to the scriptures we will use to answer your request. We encourage you to bring your request to Jesus and ask him for help.
1 John 5:14 (WEB): "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us."
John 14:13-14 (WEB): "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."
We can all approach God confidently when we align our requests with His will. In your situation, Kasongo Junice, we pray that God's will be done in your life and that He will, if it be His will, complete and expedite your resettlement process and, if it is not His will, for you to know that. We do know that we only have access to God and can only be saved by the name of Jesus. Have you trusted in Jesus?
Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is in control of every situation. We encourage you to continue seeking God's guidance and provision. Please seek Jesus if you have not already and in all you do.
Our advice is to patiently endure as described in James 5:7-11 (WEB): "Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it until it receives the early and late rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Don't grumble against one another, brothers, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door. Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy."
There are many reasons the process may be slow that we may never know. We only want God's best for you. Remember Joseph in Genesis 37 to Genesis 46. He suffered being sold into slavery by his brothers and sent to prison unjustly. This prevented him from enjoying the benefits of being one of his father's favorite sons and any plans he had for his life. After 13 years, he became prime minister of Egypt and saved his entire family from famine and death.
When the time was right, God would act. You, too, must patiently wait for God to act in your best interests. It will be a blessing. Know that He knows your needs and suffering, and He has a plan for your future. God cares for you and knows every detail of your life.
Opalalior, we pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Kasongo Junice from the Meheba refugee settlement. We first ask for you to bring them to faith in Jesus. We pray for wisdom, patience, and endurance for Junice to trust in your timing and provision in every step of their resettlement process. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding as they continue their journey. We ask you to bring comfort and strength to Junice's heart, knowing that You have not forgotten them and that You are in complete control of the situation. We also ask for you to bring the right people at the right time to assist in completing their resettlement to the USA. Bring relief to the weariness they may be feeling. If this is not your will for them, bring them to a peace to accept this fact.
Father, we know that Your timing is perfect, and we trust in Your divine plan for Junice. We ask for these things in the mighty name of Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray, amen."
We will continue to keep you in our prayers, Opalalior.
