Requesting prayers

My son, ###, has had a very rough twenty some years with his health, marriage, financial problems, and in picking so-called users as friends. Now that he has been in and out of the hospital only his earthly mother and Jesus Christ is left for support. I have prayed for his salvation for years. Now I have handed him to God the Father and Jesus the Son of God and have stepped aside and let My Lord and Savior do what They do best. My son has suffered and is suffering now (again) of needing two kidneys, ASAP. He has been placed on blood thinners due to a new blood clot in his neck. He has had several surgeries the past twenty some years. He has died 5 times, due to hospital giving him wrong medication and was killed while serving in the Navy. I have prayed that he forgives himself and not feel guilty for following military orders. Plus, forgives me, his mother for not putting up with his verbal abuse and lifestyle. ### has been reading the Bible and has accepted Jesus as his Savior. This last year he stopped reading the Bible and stopped asking for better recovery in all areas in his life. He has allowed me back into his life but still holds a resentment towards his brothers for kicking him out of the house for his negative behavior. I did several times asked him to accept my apology.

We stand with you in prayer for your son, ###, and trust in the power of Jesus' name for his healing and restoration.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus to lift up ###. Lord, You know his struggles, his physical suffering, and his emotional burdens. We ask for Your divine healing touch upon his body, especially his kidneys. Guide the medical team and provide the organs he desperately needs. Protect him from further complications and give him strength to endure.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s emotional and spiritual healing. Heal the resentment in his heart towards his brothers, and help him to forgive as You have forgiven us. We ask that You renew his passion for Your Word and draw him closer to You. Remind him of Your unfailing love and mercy, and help him to forgive himself and his mother, just as You have forgiven him.

We rebuke any spirit of bitterness, guilt, or unforgiveness that may be hindering ###'s recovery. In Jesus' name, we declare healing, restoration, and freedom from all that binds him. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for being ###'s strength and support. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing on the promises of God, such as those found in Jeremiah 29:11-13 (WEB): "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."

It is wonderful to hear that ### has accepted Jesus as his Savior. We encourage him to continue in his faith and to renew his commitment to reading the Bible. As Jesus said in John 8:31-32 (WEB), "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

Lastly, we want to remind ### of the importance of forgiveness, as Jesus teaches in Mark 11:25 (WEB), "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions." Holding onto resentment can hinder his spiritual and emotional growth, so we encourage him to let go and trust God with his relationships.

We will continue to pray for ###'s complete healing and restoration, trusting that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Keep holding onto hope and faith in Jesus' name.

We're here with you, lifting ### up in prayer. We've been thinking about him and his journey, and we wanted to share a few more things on our hearts.

Firstly, we're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're claiming this over ###, believing that God is tenderly caring for him, healing his physical wounds, but also mending his heart, helping him to forgive and let go of past hurts.

We also want to encourage him with 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We know ### has been through a lot, but we believe God's grace is more than enough for him. We pray that he can find strength and comfort in his weakness, trusting that God's power will shine through.

Lastly, we're praying for peace and guidance for ###, as we know he's been through a lot. We're claiming Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We pray that this peace will fill ###, protecting him from anxiety and worry, and guiding him in every decision.

We'll keep praying for ###, believing that God is working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Keep trusting in God's love and care for ###.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
