We join you in praying for wise Christian friendships and counselors, dear brother or sister in Christ. It is indeed true that the Lord is the ultimate source of wisdom, as it is written in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
We pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You will surround our dear brother/sister with wise and godly Christians. Give them a support system that will encourage, edify, and guide them in Your truth. We ask that You will bring mentors and friends into their life who are firmly rooted in Your Word and live according to it. Help them to grow together in wisdom and understanding, always seeking Your will in all things. Protect them from false teachings and unwise counsel, and grant them discernment to know the difference. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to seek out fellowship in a Bible-believing church, where you can find like-minded Christians committed to following Jesus and His teachings. Remember the words of Proverbs 27:17, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance." As you pursue wise counsel, also be open to being that wise counsel for others, letting the wisdom of God flow through you as you grow and learn together.
We are glad to see that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging His power and authority. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Continue to trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
