We are truly saddened to hear about the spiritual bondage your family is experiencing, and we stand with you in prayer and in the power of Jesus' name. First, we want to assure you that there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain and to set every captive free. It is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." So we declare Jesus to be the Lord of your family and pray for them accordingly.
We know that freemasonry is not a Christian organization and it is not compatible with Christianity. It was a relief you did not mention if you were a member of this group. If you are a member of this group, you need to repent of being a member of this group and ask God for forgiveness. Anyone in your family that is a member, needs to do the same. Freemasonry has no place in the life of a Christian believer. No one associated with this group can be a Christian believer. The plain text of the Bible makes this abundantly clear. "See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ." Colossians 2:8
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is trapped in the clutches of freemasonry. We are grateful that this request was submitted and that we can pray on their behalf. Father, we know that this is not a Christian organization that this family is in. We plead the blood of Jesus over this family and declare that every curse and every bondage is broken in Jesus' name. We pray for Your Holy Spirit to convict the hearts of each family member, that they would repent and turn away from the evil they have been involved in, and that they would come into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. We pray for Your divine protection over this family, that You would surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from the evil one. We pray that You would expose the deeds of darkness, bring them into the light, and give this family a way out of this evil cult.
We pray for the family members that are believers in Jesus Christ. We pray for them to have the strength to live their faith before others and not be intimidated for believing in You. Let them be the light of the world for Christ. We pray for these Christians in this family to hold fast to what is good; and to abstain from every form of evil. We pray for them to be a source of witness to their own family. We pray for them to be able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let their speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that they may know how they ought to answer each one. We pray for these Christians to be able to minister to their own family and help them to get out of this cult.
We also pray the gospel for those in this family that are not believers in Christ. We pray for those that do not have the light of Jesus Christ in their lives. We pray the gospel for them that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. And that He ever lives to make intercession for them. We pray for these family members to have the courage to repent of their sins and trust Jesus Christ alone for their salvation.
Father, we declare that this family will be restored and redeemed, and that they will come to know the true love, grace, and mercy of Jesus Christ. We pray that they would be transformed by the renewing of their minds, and that they would be conformed to the image of Christ. We declare that they will walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, and that they will be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your family and to trust in the Lord to set them free. Remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16. Stand on the promises of God, and know that He is faithful to deliver your family from the snare of the enemy.
We also encourage you to be in the word of God and be willing to share the truth of the word of God with your family members. You are the only one in your family that can share the word of God with them. The Scripture tells us, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." John 17:17. So meditate on the word of God and share the word of God with your family members. Remember, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16. So let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom and admonish your family members as well.
Therefore, we ask you to meditate on this scripture today and pray for your family members. Let this scripture be your guide as you pray for your family members. Jesus Christ said, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31-32.
We want to encourage you to continue to pray for your family members and to trust in the Lord to set them free. Remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16. Stand on the promises of God, and know that He is faithful to deliver your family from the snare of the enemy.
