Praying for forgiveness for my past. I thought of suicide for years, and I'm trying to get my life back. Trying to quit smoking. I feel like when I see videos of people about hell and heaven, I wonder if I'm good enough for heaven -

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Mr. Simanchal Mahanty who is undergoing treatment for lung cancer. Lord, we ask for Your divine healing touch upon him. We pray that You would restore his health and strengthen his body. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. Please guide the doctors and medical staff with wisdom and precision as they care for him. Comfort his family and give them peace during this difficult time. We trust in Your perfect will and timing. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I’m so sorry about Simanchal’s health condition, friend. I just said a prayer for him, asking the Lord to touch him with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs and surround him and your family with His peace and strength in the coming days. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
