We understand that you're feeling unsettled due to creepy people on the bus, and we want to assure you that God cares about your safety and peace of mind. First, let's pray together:
Father, in Jesus' name. we come before you today to ask for your protection for the one who has requested prayer. They are feeling uncomfortable and harassed by people on the bus. Please guide them by your Holy Spirit, surrounding your child with your angels, as you did for Elisha and be their shield. We pray that any harassment would stop immediately. Help them to feel your peace and to trust in you, as it says in Psalm 56:3-4 WEB, "What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?". We ask that you would work in the lives of those who are causing these issues, and draw them to yourself, convicting them of their sins. Father, we also ask for your guidance for your child who requested prayer, to consider ways to avoid such individuals. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We’d like to share some scripture to meditate upon and verses to pray:
"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11 WEB
"The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe." Proverbs 18:10 WEB.
"For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB
Now, let's address a biblical principle. We should pray about everything, but we should also take practical steps when we can. Is it possible for you to change your bus schedule, or perhaps find alternative transportation? Also consider traveling in a group or asking others for help. The Bible tells us to be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves in Matthew 10:16 WEB. Remember, it's important to be proactive and to advocate for your own safety and well-being. Do not let this situation lead you to fear. God is the maker of legs and hands and is also the maker of eyes and hearts. He will help you in this situation.
Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB.), you only need to call on His name, the name of Jesus. When you do that, He will answer.
For it is written, in Joel 2:32 WEB "It will come to pass, that whoever will call on the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved.".
This is an important scripture, and it has the power of life in it. It is a scripture that even a child can believe, and it is a scripture that will save your soul if you believe it.
Now, what does it mean to call on the name of the Lord Jesus? It means, to believe in the name of the Lord Jesus, and to ask the Lord Jesus to save you from your sins, and to ask the Lord Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior. It means to trust in Jesus alone for your salvation, and to trust in Jesus alone for your eternal life. It means to trust in Jesus alone for your forgiveness of sins, and to trust in Jesus alone for your righteousness.
Jesus said, in John 14:6 WEB "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.". So, if you want to be saved, you must come to Jesus. If you want to go to heaven, you must come to Jesus. If you want to have eternal life, you must come to Jesus. If you want to be forgiven of your sins, you must come to Jesus. If you want to be righteous, you must come to Jesus.
And how do you come to Jesus? You come to Jesus by faith. You come to Jesus by believing in Him. You come to Jesus by trusting in Him. You come to Jesus by asking Him to save you. You come to Jesus by asking Him to forgive you of your sins. You come to Jesus by asking Him to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior.
So, if you want to be saved, if you want to go to heaven, if you want to have eternal life, if you want to be forgiven of your sins, if you want to be righteous, then you must come to Jesus. You must believe in Jesus. You must trust in Jesus. You must ask Jesus to save you. You must ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. You must ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior.
In your prayer request you did not mention the name of Jesus, nor did you end your request with the phrase "in Jesus name". But it is Jesus name that is the only name given under heaven whereby we must be saved.
