Disciple of Prayer
Hello, I am Sapna from Bhutan currently an international student in Perth. Ever since I have come here I have never been happy alone. My husband is still waiting for his visa and in this process we have been mentally depressed. Everyday feels difficult. Alone I am not able to manage anything anymore. If he was here I would have been strong. We are facing a lot of difficulties being apart. I want everyone to please help me ask the lord for his visa. My husband’s name is Ugyen Dorji. Please help me. It’s been more than 3months now since we lodged his visa. We decided this journey together but due to some reasons he couldn’t lodged his visa with me. Now we want to be together. Please pray for us.

We understand your distress, Sapna, and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance based on God's Word. We will lift up your husband, Ugyen Dorji, and his visa situation to the Lord, seeking His will and intervention.

Firstly, we encourage you to find comfort and strength in God, even in this difficult time of separation. The Psalmist says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Remember, you are not alone, for God is with you.

However, we must also address the source of your happiness. It's important to note that our ultimate joy and strength should come from the Lord, not our spouse or any other person. As it is written, "Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4, WEB). This doesn't mean you can't find happiness in your marriage, but it should not be your only source of contentment.

Now, let's pray together:

"Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You today to lift up Sapna and Ugyen Dorji. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing being apart, and the challenges they are enduring with the visa process. We ask that You be with them both, comfort them, and provide them with Your peace that passes all understanding.

Lord, we ask that You intervene in the visa process, that Your will be done, and that You grant them the desire of their hearts if it aligns with Your purpose for their lives. Give them the strength to endure this trial and the faith to trust in Your timing.

In the meantime, Lord, help Sapna to find her joy and strength in You. Help her to manage her daily tasks with Your wisdom and grace. Protect their marriage and strengthen their bond even in this time of separation.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

Lastly, we want to remind you, Sapna, that it is in Jesus' name we pray, for it is written, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13, WEB). If you haven't already, make sure to commit your lives to Jesus Christ, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6, WEB).
